What if my medical condition becomes more serious while I'm at an Ingalls Urgent Aid Center?
You can take comfort in knowing that should your condition actually be more serious than you anticipated, the staff of our 24-hour centers are trained in advanced life support and can stabilize patients. With dedicated transfer systems already in place, we quickly get patients to facilities where they can receive care appropriate for their condition.
What if I have a minor medical emergency on a weekend or in the middle of the night?
Ingalls 24-Hour Urgent Aid Centers were designed to address the need for fast, efficient, quality care in the South Suburbs — seven days a week. We're here when you need us — any hour of the day, every day of the year. And with three convenient locations in Calumet City, Flossmoor and Tinley Park, expert urgent care is never more than a few minutes away from where you live or work.
Will you communicate with my primary care physician about my urgent care visit?
Ingalls 24-hour centers aren't intended to replace a visit to your own doctor, but to supplement that care when he/she may not be available. Any recommended medical follow-up is always referred to your own primary care physician (PCP). If you don't already have a doctor, we'll be happy to help you find one.
What insurances do you accept at Ingalls Urgent Aid Centers?
Ingalls 24-Hour Urgent Aid Centers accept most major insurance plans, including HMOs.
