Occupational Therapy
The goal of occupational therapy at Ingalls is to help a person lead a self-reliant, productive and rewarding life. This type of therapy encompasses many types of activities, ranging from hygiene tasks to cooking to the use of a computer; the type of disability determines the type of occupational therapy required.

Ingalls audiologists diagnose and treat individuals with hearing loss and work to proactively prevent additional hearing-related damage. If an audiologist determines that a hearing loss or vestibular abnormality is present, he or she will provide recommendations to a patient as to what options (e.g. hearing aids, cochlear implants, surgery, appropriate medical referrals) may be of assistance.
