Ingalls Spine Center treats a full spectrum of spinal disorders – from complex and difficult-to-diagnose cases, to those that have failed previous treatment. Here, you will find a complete continuum of services, including spine injections, minimally invasive surgical techniques, microsurgery and complex surgery.

Diagnostics
Here, we're committed to providing you with the most accurate and reliable clinical information thanks to our state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging services, experienced board-certified radiologists and neurologists, and a highly accredited and acclaimed neurophysiology lab. In fact, our lab is one of only two Illinois labs accredited by the prestigious American Clinical Neurophysiology Society Laboratory Accreditation Board. Neurophysiology studies range from diagnostic tests such as EMGs and nerve conduction studies, which help physicians identify nerve and muscle problems, to intra-operative monitoring which provides surgeons valuable feedback during difficult surgical situations before permanent anatomic damage takes place.

Imaging
New digital technologies now give our physicians electronic access to images in or out of the hospital. And patients have access to their images on CD-Rom or conventional film. That means we can provide faster turnaround times between tests and results. Also, to ensure the most accurate diagnosis in the shortest period of time, Ingalls offers up-to-date technology including: a spiral CT scanner, 3D imaging, MRI and SPECT/PET. Images and tests at Ingalls are interpreted by neuroradiologists - physicians who specialize in identifying the spine anatomy and related conditions.
