State-of-the-art convenience
We now provide more complex technology at our family care centers including:
• Computerized tomography (CT) - a diagnostic test to produce
   clear images of tissue being examined while minimizing the
   amount of radiatio exposure
• Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) - a way to examine the
   heart through very clear images of the heart chambers and
   muscle. Both Calumet City and Tinley Park have "open" MRI
   units for greater patient comfort
• Positron emission tomography (PET) - a scan to detect cancer
   at the molecular level
