Patient Advocacy

Ingalls provides patient representatives as a service. Their primary responsibility is to the patient. If you have issues or concerns about anything at Ingalls, from your care to your wheelchair, a patient representative will help you or find the right people to do so. The patient representative:

• Helps when you or a family member has questions regarding
medical care, treatment or services provided at the hospital
• Serves as a patient representative among physicians, nurses
  and other leadership
• Functions as a neutral party to investigate problems or help
  find resolutions
